This rapport contains reflections over three different types of sketching techniques:
video-, hardware- and 2D sketching. I will through this paper examine how and when to use these three techniques. They are a way of exploring different aspects of interaction design. To explore the possibilities of everyday objects we have used these different techniques in groups and individually.
The result is a design we call ‘Dishwashing Party’. It is an interactive plate rack, that increasingly plays music, the more dishes are washed and placed on the plate rack. In the process I have involved various theories on the subject and applied them in our case.
